Nationality:- Only Indian Nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), and Overseas citizens of India (OCI) Card Holders are eligible to appear for AP EAPCET 2024.
- PIO/OCI candidates must satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as laid down by the Andhra Pradesh State Educational Institutions.
- Foreign nationals desirous of taking admission to any course shall be required to obtain a certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
- Candidates should be a resident of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana state.
- The candidates must satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as per the Andhra Pradesh/Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974, and its subsequent amendments.
- The local/non-local status of the candidate will be determined as per the guidelines issued by the respective state governments.
- Candidates applying for Engineering and Pharmacy courses must have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission (2024) and there is no upper age limit.
- For B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Agr. Engineering), B.Tech. (FS & T), and B.Sc. (Agr. Engg) courses, candidates should have completed 17 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission (2024), and the upper age limit is 22 years for all candidates and 25 years for SC/ST candidates as of 31st December of the year of admission (2024).
- To be eligible for Engineering, B.Pharmacy (M.P.C), Pharm.D, B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Agr. Engineering), B.Tech. [Food Science and Technology (FS & T)], B.Sc. [Agriculture Engg] courses, candidates must have passed the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern).
- The Intermediate Examination must have been conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
- Candidates must have chosen Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as options or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology.
- The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana must have conducted a bridge course or courses for candidates enrolled from the academic year 2000 onwards.
- Alternatively, any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana may also be considered.
- Candidates who have appeared for the Final Year Intermediate Examination (10+2 Pattern) and are awaiting their results may also apply for APEAPCET 2024.
- However, their ranks obtained in APEAPCET 2024 will be valid only if they pass the Intermediate Examination.
- Minimum percentage of marks required in the qualifying examination for most courses offered through APEAPCET 2024 is 45% (40% for reserved categories).
